How to Remove Skin Tags - What is the Best Way to Get Rid of Skin Tags on the Eyelids?

Many people suffer from the common problem of small skin growths, called tags, which occur most often on the neck, under the arms, on the eyelids, under the breasts, and on the chest and back. They can really occur just about anywhere but these are the most usual places, and most people prefer skin tag removal rather than just leaving them alone.

Anyone can suffer from this problem, and it is said that just about half of the population experiences one or more at some time in their adult life.

As a matter of fact it is such a common issue that you will find scores of home remedies floating around in books and online. Some methods will work and some are just "old wives' tales" and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Many people experience skin tags on their eyelids and, more so than any other area, this seems to be a difficult area to treat at home. For the tags found on the chest or the back or even under the arm, it is relatively easy to just snip them off with a sterilized pair of nail clippers. However, the very tiny tags on the eyelids are problematic due to their size and location. I'd be a bit wary of using a sharp instrument that close to my eye, as you may find yourself with additional problems much worse than the original tiny skin growth.

Actually, you don't really have to do anything at all as these growths are benign and will not cause any harm. You can just leave them alone completely and not have to be concerned at all. But the fact is that most people simply don't like the looks of them and wish to have them removed, which is understandable.

If you do a little searching online, you will read that you should go ahead and use the usual home remedies on the eyelid tags, but in actuality it is really better to see your physician and have them removed in the office. Skin tag removal performed by your doctor is quite painless and takes only a few minutes of time.
